SDNA created live, interactive projections, providing a vibrant and engaging layer to Monk Misterioso – a jazz theatre performance marking the centenary of Thelonious Monk’s birth. Directed by Filomena Campus of Theatralia and written by prominent writer Stefano Benni, Monk Misterioso featured performances from world-class musicians Cleveland Watkiss, MBE, Pat Thomas, Orphy Robinson,MBE, Dudley Philips and Mark Mondesir. Renowned multi-instrumentalist Roland Sutherland provided music design. Monk Misterioso was performed at Colchester Arts Centre, The Stables in Milton Keynes, Guildhall in Portsmouth and Kings Place London as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival in 2017.
