Sake No Hana – Hakkasan

A lighting installation for the renowned Japanese restaurant Sake no Hana, celebrating ‘Sakura’ – the traditional Japanese cherry blossom season.

Commissioned by Hakkasan, SDNA collaborated with artist Lydia Shirreff to produce a lighting installation for their celebrated restaurant Sake no Hana in the heart of London’s Mayfair. Images of falling petals were projected onto delicate layers of tissue, suspended over the vast dining room of the restaurant and framed by the magical bamboo and cypress wood interiors designed by esteemed Japanese architect Kengo Kuma.
